Healthy and Quick Breakfast - Rava Idly ( Idli )

Rava Idly, It is very commonly known SouthIndian main course dish and a very popular breakfast too. Usually it is made of Rice or Suji (Semolina ) and served with Sambhar.
It is very quick and easy to make. Along with being tasty it is very healthy, as it is being cooked in steam.  Here is a easiest way of making Idly.

For 8 middle size idlies.

Ingredients For The Batter           

Easy and Delicious Rava Idly
1 cup semolina (rava)
1/4 cup curds (dahi)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
salt to taste
3/4 tsp fruit salt

Other Ingredients
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp ghee
1/2 tsp mustard seeds ( rai / sarson)
1 tsp urad dal (split black lentils)
4 curry leaves (kadi patta)
a pinch asafoetida (hing)
oil for greasing

The Recipe
Mix Suji (Semolina) curd and water into a mixing bowl.  Add salt to it and leave it for about 10 to 15 minutes.
For condiment take 1 table spoon oil into the hot pan. Fry Mustard Seeds and Curry Leafs into the hot oil and mix this condiment with the batter. 
Now boil one cup water in a large pot with lid on the top.  Till our water is boiling Grease  the Idly stand with some cooking oil and set aside.  Now mix the fruit salt to the batter and mix it slowly. Batter is start rising and now this has convert into a lighter foam. Do not mix it too much.  Shift the batter in to the idly pockets and after setting the idly stand properly put it into the middle of boiling water and cover the lid. It will take 12 to 15 minutes to cook. 
Now our soft and delicious idles are ready to serve. These Idlies could be served with Sambhar and Coconut Chatney.
